TurboSlideChamp’s new album Butterflies with joints, Ogres with guns is out everywhere — the most ambitious project he’s put out on Creek Bay yet, and the one he’s been quietly grinding on for months.

The whole thing was built in the room with 00HUNNID behind the board. That partnership is really the backbone of this record — 00HUNNID mixed and produced across the entire tracklist, and the two of them kept going back in for pass after pass until every drum hit and vocal pocket sat exactly where it needed to. It shows: the record moves between hazy, smoked-out melodic cuts and harder, guitar-and-gun-talk records without ever losing its own identity, which is the kind of cohesion you only get from an artist and a producer who trust each other completely.

Turbo brought in the room to make it happen — pkcentraL, TheLonnyWeb, Marcellus Apollo, 00HUNNID, Nik Burnham, URA, and Jaylene Rodriguez all show up across the project, each one stepping in exactly where the record needed them.
